Refund Policy

We want you to be happy with PromptBlend. This page explains when refunds are available, when they are not, and how to ask for one. If anything below is unclear, email us at hello@promptblend.app and we will work it out.

1. Cancelling a subscription

You can cancel a monthly or annual subscription at any time from your dashboard. When you cancel, your subscription stays active until the end of the billing period you have already paid for. After that, it does not renew and you are not charged again.

2. Monthly subscriptions

Monthly subscription payments are non-refundable. If you cancel mid cycle you keep access until the cycle ends, but we do not refund the unused portion of the month. This is the industry standard for usage-based SaaS, and it keeps our pricing simple.

3. Annual subscriptions — 7-day goodwill window

If you bought an annual subscription and change your mind, email us within 7 days of the initial purchase and we will refund the full amount, minus the prorated value of any credits you have already used. After the 7-day window, annual subscriptions are non-refundable, but you can still cancel renewal at any time so you are not charged the following year.

4. Credit packs

Credit packs are one-time purchases. Once credits have been added to your account, the purchase is non-refundable. Unused credits expire 12 months from the purchase date.

We treat credit packs the same way most digital marketplaces treat gift cards or prepaid balances: once issued, they cannot be returned for cash. If you are unsure whether PromptBlend will work for you, start with the smallest pack or with the monthly subscription instead.

5. System errors and failed sifts

If a credit is consumed but the Sift never returned a usable result because of an error on our end, we will refund the credit to your account. In most cases this happens automatically. If it does not, email us within 30 days of the failed Sift with the timestamp and we will fix it.

Refunds in this category are credit refunds, not cash refunds. We do not issue cash refunds for individual failed Sifts on a working account.

6. Duplicate or accidental charges

If you were charged twice for the same item or charged for a subscription you did not knowingly start, email us with the Stripe receipt and we will refund the duplicate charge in full.

7. How to request a refund

Email hello@promptblend.app from the email address on your account. Please include:

  • The Stripe receipt or last 4 digits of the charge
  • Which refund category above you think applies
  • A short note on what happened

We aim to respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are issued through Stripe back to the original payment method and typically appear within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.

8. Chargebacks

If you have a billing concern, please email us first. Opening a chargeback before contacting us locks the funds with Stripe and slows everything down for both of us. We would rather resolve it directly.
